A graduate of Tufts Medical School in Boston, Dr. Tremont interned at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, where he also completed one year of medical residency. He served a second residency and completed a fellowship in hematology at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington. He then completed an oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Tremont is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Southeastern Medical Society. He has also taught as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina.
