Dr. Jones completed her residency and received her doctorate from the University of Cincinnati. She also completed fellowships at the National Cancer Institute, and a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology in Rochester, MN. She is Board Certified in Gynecologic Oncology as well as General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Jones earned the rank of Assistant Professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and provided care as a Consultant, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Surgery and Department of General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
In addition to being the author of numerous peer reviewed articles, Dr. Jones has recently served as the Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Research Committee and the Vice Chair of the Violence and Abuse Awareness and Education Committee at the Mayo Clinic.
She is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a member of numerous Oncologic Societies including Women in Cancer Research, American Association for Cancer Research, Society for Gynecologic Oncologists and the International Gynecologic Cancer Society.
