Dr. Deutsch graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her doctorate from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. She obtained her fellowship in hematology and oncology at Duke University Medical Center. After completing her fellowship, Dr. Deutsch practiced at Raleigh Internal Medicine Associates, PA. Dr. Deutsch chairs the Cancer Care Committee and the Medical Executive Committee at WakeMed-Raleigh. In addition, she has served as medical staff president at WakeMed. Her certifications include the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
