Dr. Agrawal joined Cancer Centers of North Carolina in 2004. He received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Pune, India, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Pune. He also completed a second residency in internal medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Agrawal then completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Agrawal is board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Agrawal has published and presented the promising results of clinical trials in the treatment of myeloma and lung cancer and authored a chapter in the current management of metastatic colon cancer.
