Cancer Centers of North Carolina Hosts
An Evening with the Carolina Hurricanes
Raleigh, North Carolina (November 19, 2007) – Cancer Centers of North Carolina hosted several of its
patients for the November 17th contest between the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers at the RBC Center located at 1400 Edwards Mill Road
in Raleigh.
On Saturday, November 17, 2007, Barbara Matula, Judy Wilson, Wayne Ingram and Joel Prince, along with their caregivers, joined
staff members and physicians from Cancer Centers of North Carolina as they cheered the Carolina Hurricanes NHL team on to victory against the
Florida Panthers. During the game the group enjoyed visits from Stormy the Ice Hog, Ron the Ref, and members of the Hurricanes Storm Squad.
The evening was made possible by Hurricanes players Eric Cole and Eric Staal, who generously shared their private luxury box with
the Cancer Center staff and patients.
