OPENS PRACTICE IN CLAYTON

Clayton, North Carolina (February 5, 2007) – Cancer Centers of North Carolina will begin caring for patients at its new Clayton practice on Monday, February 5, 2007. Located at 555 Medical Park Place, Suite 207, the office will serve people with cancer in the Clayton, Garner, and Smithfield communities by providing advanced and comprehensive cancer care.

“Easy access to advanced cancer care plays a significant role in our fight against this disease," said Alan Kritz, MD, practice president for Cancer Centers of North Carolina. “We are very excited about the opening of this new office because it means people with cancer in our community can receive their care close to their homes and their support networks of family and friends.”

Dr. Virgil Rose, a board certified oncologist with over 20 years of experience will head up the medical team at Cancer Centers of North Carolina’s new Clayton office.

The physicians of Cancer Centers of North Carolina have been treating patients in Raleigh and its surrounding communities since 1979. Led by medical oncologist William R. Berry, M.D., the team is made up of specially-trained cancer care professionals who work together to provide medical oncology services in convenient, community-based settings.
